Mind, Power, Reality, Soul, Space and Time. These are the 6 infinity stones that Thanos is looking for to accomplish his plan. To kill half of all life in the universe. Isn't it an interesting plan? Hmm....
Well, I’ve watched all the MCU movies for the third time around to get ready with the most anticipating and exciting movie of all time the “Avengers: Endgame”. I’m not one of the lucky people to see it on the first day but spoilers in social media are hype and unstoppable. So I decided then to watch it on its second day. ?
You should have watched at least the “Avengers: Infinity War” for you to have an idea on what happened to our heroes, Avengers. If not, this movie might probably leave you in a big puzzle and gave you tons of questions. Like, what will happen now to our main heroes? Where did the other heroes go? Why Thanos wants to kill half of the population of the universe? On a serious note, I think you should have watched all the 21 movies before this so that you can see how these all are related to each other. Hahaha.
Moving forward, I think it’s not just me who hope for the big come back of all the heroes and dream of defeating Thanos. Well, it did happen and that was my favorite part. Captain America was on his knees, exhausted, fighting as much as he can to kill Thanos until his shield, his primary offensive, and defensive weapon, got broke. Thor was worn out and Ironman too. All three of them against Thanos but it seems not enough and everything is in favor with Thanos. Especially when Thanos summoned all his evil allies and battleships. What a very despairing situation to our Marvel superheroes.
What happened next put so much thrill and chills as a sling ring, temporary portal to another location, slowly opens on the left side of our Captain. Woooohhhh!!! I was like jumping on my seat waiting who’s going to come out. Dr. Strange was on my mind first but there you go. There’s Black Panther, Shuri and Okoye appeared with the whole nation of Wakanda. And I was like asking, will it be enough? Where are the others? As I ask those questions in my mind while T’Challa is talking, a second sling ring appeared, then the third, and the fourth, until the entire field was filled with portals and the big “come back” of all the heroes happened. That was really an epic moment.
The ending was quite hard to accept because of Iron Man’s lost but everything paid off after what he did. And shout out too to Black Widow, who sacrificed her life to get the soul stone. Actually, I don’t want anyone to die in this movie but “it is what it is”.
Overall, I’m extremely satisfied and pleased with the movie. The actors too did a great job and I couldn’t imagine anyone who can portray their characters except them. For me, everything went well, they really need to spare some lives in exchange for others. I think that’s what a real “Superhero Movie” all about. Sacrifices for freedom and peace.
I don’t think this will be the end of MCU movies. Recently, a few days after the release of the Avenger’s Endgame, there’s a new spider-man trailer “Far From Home” which is a great introduction to the cosmically-based-dimension, Phase 4. I’m not familiar with it but this is a good sign that there’s a lot more to look forward to with MCU. The whole “Avengers sequel thing” is really mind-boggling but who knows sooner or later, I’m sure they will still produce this kind of epic movies and I would love to see more of those in the future. ?
