A honeymoon is once-in-a-lifetime event that many are willing to spend lots to get a great experience. But in fact you don't need an arm and a leg if Vietnam is in your dream list already. Recently, Lonely Planet has revealed their top 10 budget honeymoons and unsurprisingly, Vietnam is among them.
According to the worldwide famous magazine, you could get by for less than US$10 a day in Vietnam and still eat like a king. As a heaven for street-food, Vietnam offers a series of its signature dishes: beef pho, bun cha (barbecued pork with rice noodles) and bánh mì (baguette). Even when you go for a mid-range trip, it won’t break the bank either. You can buy more characterful guesthouses, a better Halong Bay cruise and memorable experiences (a cookery class, a cycle around Hoi An) with change left for a beach stay on beautiful Phu Quoc Island.
Here in Vietnam, you can choose from the UNESCO-listed world heritage sites to the nightlife of the bustling cities and from the gorgeous paddy fields to the private dinners in caves. Check out Hoi An, Da Lat, Halong Bay, Sapa, Mui Ne or beautifully romantic islands such as Phu Quoc or Con Dao. Your honeymoon will surely be unforgettable and you will surely have some left in the bank to start a new life with your other half.
